BIOGRAPHY & PERSONAL DATA

Born on January 1, 1989, in Baku, Azerbaijan, Narmina Valiyeva is an acclaimed contemporary visual artist and academic. Over the past two decades, her creative endeavors have earned prominent international recognition, spanning prestigious exhibitions, global competitions, and significant institutional contributions.

EDUCATION & ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

2014 – 2018 Postgraduate Studies (PhD in Fine Arts) Faculty of Painting, Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts • Dissertation: 'The Creativity of Salhab Mammadov in the Context of the Contemporary Artistic Environment' (Successfully defended in 2018).
2010 – 2012 Master of Fine Arts (MFA) – Painting Faculty of Painting, Azerbaijan State Academy of Fine Arts
