Zhao Zhihai
Zhao Zhihai, male, in 1958, chief expert and researcher of Zhangjiakou Agricultural science, high-end talent of Hebei Province, and expert enjoying special allowance of the State Council. In 2019, the highly drought resistant hybrid variety Zhangzagu 19 and high-quality rice hybrid variety Zhangzagu 13 were successfully selected. The 21 "Zhangzagu" series of hybrid varieties have been promoted to over 30 million mu, helping millions of farmers lift themselves out of poverty and become prosperous. 6 internationally leading achievements; Won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of Hebei Province Science and Technology Progress Award, and the National Innovation Prize in 2023; 22 authorized invention patents and led the development of 5 local standards in Hebei Province; Published 26 papers, with 4 papers included in SCI, and is known as the "father of hybrid millet" in the industry.
