Zhang Long, Doctor of Engineering, second grade professor, doctoral supervisor, deputy director of the academic committee of Changchun University of Technology; director of Jilin Engineering Laboratory of Petrochemical Resources and Biomass Comprehensive Utilization. He is a member of the Chemical Process Intensification Committee of the Chinese Society of Chemical Industry; Vice Chairman of the Northeast Rice Deep Processing Industrialization Technology Alliance of the National Rice Engineering Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology; Vice Chairman of the Jilin Chemical Industry Association; Chairman of the Jilin Heat Exchanger Technology Standardization Committee; and an outstanding achievement expert of the Jilin Province and the leading,professor of the discipline in universities. He has long been engaged in the exploration of principles of green chemical process design and new technologies, and its application in the efficient conversion of resources and green synthesis of functional materials, and the construction of the discipline of chemical engineering and technology and the cultivation of high-level talents.

  1. The design principles of green chemical processes and their application technologies in the fields of functional material synthesis and resource recycling have been systematically proposed and explained. He has invented a new technological method for polymer resource conversion based on the catalytic hydrothermal principle and a patented technology for the preparation of graphene from free radical oxidized stripped graphite. Published 12 monographs and teaching materials, including "Principles and Applications of Green Chemical Process Design" (SCIENCE PUBLISHING HOUSE, 2018), Green Chemistry and Technologies (DE GRUYTER PRESS); Won the 2016 International Energy and Environment Prize (ENI Prize) Candidate Nomination Award; "Design and Application of Multi-Acid Catalysts for Efficient and Clean Conversion of Biomass" Won the Second Prize of Natural Science Achievement of Jilin Province in 2023. He has published 131 important academic papers, with a cumulative impact factor of 149.7 and a cumulative total of 591 citations; 40 Chinese invention patents have been authorized; and he has won 6 first and second prizes scientific and technological progress awards. of provincial and ministerial-level.
  2. A number of patented green chemical technologies developed have been industrialized. The "High-efficiency Desulfurization Catalyst Industrial Preparation Technology and Equipment by Gas-phase Sulfonation and Solid-phase Synthesis" won the Second Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (2010, 2011) twice, and achieved remarkable economic and social benefits; "Green Synthesis Technology and Application of Poly(vinyl alcohol) Application" won the First Prize of Jilin Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress (2020); developed the first patented technology and equipment for graphene production by free radical oxidation of graphite, with the highest graphene yield of 95%, and the quality of graphene powder has reached the advanced level of similar products at home and abroad, and industrial production of 100-ton scale has been realized.
  3. He Organized and led the team to obtain the first doctoral authorization unit of chemical engineering and technology in universities in Jilin Province; trained 146 graduated doctoral and master's degree students. He up-builded the Jilin Provincial Petrochemical Resources and Biomass Comprehensive Utilization Engineering Laboratory.
