Dr.Zhang Jianwen, Professor of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Doctoral Supervisor, Responsible Professor of Safety Discipline. He was awarded the "Beijing Outstanding Talent Cultivation Grant (2007)" and the "Leading Discipline Leader in the Field of Work Safety" in Beijing (2018).

His main research areas are chemical engineering, new/non-conventional energy technology and equipment, chemical safety, urban production safety and life-saving evacuation, and biological risk assessment, etc.

He is a consultant expert in search and rescue of China MRCC, a senior member of Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, a member of Fire and Explosion Prevention Professional Committee of China Occupational Safety and Health Association, a member of Safety Protection and Emergency Management Professional Committee of Chinese Institute of Command and Control, Deputy Director of Emergency and Safety Industry and Education Integration Union (Innovation Center), an evaluation expert of China Scholarship Council, an evaluation expert of National Development and Reform Commission, a project finance expert of Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China, and a special expert of Ministry of Defense of the People's Republic of China.

He has published more than 190 academic papers in core journals at home and abroad, such as CIESC Journal, Heat Transfer-Asian Research, Chemical Engineering Journal, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, ACTA PHYSICO-CHIMICA SINICA, Journal of Hazardous Materials, Separation and Purification Technology, International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, Journal of Chromatography A, International Journal of ELECTROCHEMICAL SCIENCE, Journal of Fluids Engineering, etc., of which more than 130 are included in SCI/EI/ISTP/ACS. He has more than 10 patents and 30 software copyrights.

He has been in charge of one National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project, one sub-project of the 11th Five-Year Plan of National Science and Technology Support Program, and one "Beijing Outstanding Talent Grant" project. He is the leader of one project "Research on Key Scientific Issues of Remote Measurement and Early Warning for the Whole Process of Hazardous Chemical Accidents" under the 973 Program, the leader of one project "Research and Demonstration of Key Technologies for Prevention and Control of Production Safety Risks in Urban Areas" under the National Science and Technology Support Program, and the Chief Scientist of one project "Research on the Theory and Methods of Integrated Control and Digital Safety of Intelligent Factories of the Process Industry" under the National Key Research and Development Program of China. He participated in Topic 6 of "Remote Measurement, Early Warning and Emergency Response Platform for the Whole Process of Hazardous Chemical Accidents Based on Multi-dimensional Spatial Environment Detection" of the National Science and Technology Support Program, and one topic of National Science and Technology Major Project. He also presided over more than 40 enterprise R&D projects, including 1 scientific research result implemented engineering transformation.

He has received the following awards and honors: ACFD2000 "Outstanding Paper of Youth Award"; "Beijing Outstanding Talent Cultivation Grant (2007)"; "Individual with Outstanding Contributions to the 10th Anniversary of Counterpart Support to Western Universities" by the Ministry of Education (2011); "Science and Technology Cooperation Award" by Dongying City (2013); second prize of "Geographic Information Science and Technology Progress Award" of China Association for Geographical Industry and Sciences: Remote Measurement, Early Warning and Emergency Response Platform for the Whole Process of Hazardous Chemical Accidents Based on Multi-dimensional Spatial Environment Detection (2016); "Leading Discipline Leader in the Field of Work Safety" in Beijing (inaugural session in 2018); first prize of "Science and Technology Progress Award" of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF): Hazardous Chemical Leakage Source Location Technology and System (2019); and second prize of "Geographic Information Science and Technology Progress Award" of China Association for Geographical Industry and Sciences (2023): Research and Demonstration of Key Technologies for the Safety Management of Oil and Gas Pipelines Based on 3D GIS.
