Yuan Fusong
Position: associate professor, specialist prosthodontist, master's tutor
Department: Department of Prosthodontics, Center of Digital Dentistry, National Engineering Research Center of Oral Biomaterials and Digital Medical Devices, Peking University School and Hospital of Stomatology
Educational background: DDS, PhD
Clinical: diagnosis and treatment of various difficult and complicated prosthodontics diseases, digital prosthodontics, aesthetic prosthodontics, oral implantology, multidisciplinary joint diagnosis and treatment.
Research:
Dr. Yuan has long been committed to the basic and applied research of robotics, artificial intelligence, femtosecond laser and digital technology in oral medicine. The world's first intelligent tooth preparation robot system has been developed by his team, and their research on oral treatment robot systems based on femtosecond laser is at the international leading level. Their goal is to organically integrate robotic technology, femtosecond laser technology, artificial intelligence technology and digital technology into various fields of oral medicine, and promote the development of oral medicine in the direction of intelligence, automation, precision and comfort.

Research results:
45 papers were published in journals included in SCI.
4 U.S. invention patents, 1 European invention patent, 25national invention patents, 3 software copyrights, 1 appearance patent were authorized.
Dr. Yuan has been invited to give academic reports at famous international dental academic conferences IADR, CAFD, and ACT4D.
Dr. Yuan was selected into the first Peking University clinical scientist training program, won the Global Health and Longevity Competition Catalyst Award, the Middle East International Invention Exhibition gold medal, the Geneva International Invention Exhibition silver medal, China Invention Patent Award, China Industry-Academic-Research Cooperation Innovation Award, Beijing Science and Technology The first prize of the Technology Invention Award, the first prize of the China Medical Device Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the gold medal of the Beijing Invention and Innovation Competition etc.
