Yin James QYin James Q


Prof. Yin James Q (Yin Qinwei) was born in July 1956, created a high-pressure and high-resolution horizontal electrophoresis of tissue sections in 1990. Combining with the isozyme activity chromogenic technique, the molecular subtypes of various isozymes were successfully analyzed for the first time. It has promoted the vigorous development of isozymes research and application at that time. Therefore, in 1991, Prof. Yin was awarded the honorary title of Academician by the New York Academy of Sciences.

Under the guidance of Academician Xue Shepu, the cell line of the Basic Institute of Peking Union Medical College, the development rules of cell body, dendrite and synapse of motor neurons were systematically studied, and the interaction between motor neurons and other components was revealed by various methods at the level of embryonic tissue, nerve cells and protein molecules. Then, under the guidance of Professor R. Oppenheim, Department of Neurobiology, School of Medicine, American Forest University, the spontaneous apoptosis of spinal motor neurons in chicken embryo was further studied comprehensively and systematically; In cooperation with Professor G. Fischback of Harvard Medical School, ARIA has studied the regulation of neurons and the function of neuromuscular junction, which has contributed to the growth and development of nervous system. Relevant research results have been published in important journals such as: Nature 1992, Science 1991, Neuron 1994 and J. Neuroscience1994.

In the area of RNAi Interference Technology, he cooperated with Professor R.Greenes in Harvard Medical School to study medical informatics, tried to compile medical guidelines such as standardized diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of senile dementia with computer language, and made standard demonstration procedures and examples, which were exhibited at the American Medical Informatics Conference and received wide acclaim for JAMA. Supp 2001.

Afterwards, Prof Yin and his team have successfully developed a polypeptide nanoparticle delivery system, which directed siR-MITF molecules into melanocytes of skin. The results were published in Mol. Therapy 2011 and Science and Technology Herald, and won the 2010 Person of the Year Award of Scientific Chinese. They developed freckle-removing and whitening products based on RNAi interference technology successfully, obtained the approval of special functional cosmetics from the National Medical Products Administration, and made small nucleic acids become active ingredients in the national pharmacopoeia.

Besides from the aforementioned achievements, the concept in hematology textbook was subverted by Prof. Yin, he and his team transformed mesenchymal stem cells into hematopoietic stem cells, and 6 Patients with severe aplastic anemia were successfully treated by utilizing this method.

At the first anti-aging medical conference in China in 2015, the theory of soil and seeds for stem cells to prevent and treat chronic diseases was first put forward. Because of this, Prof. Yin has designed the Specific 4-Dimensional Linkage Treatment Scheme and established the Acupoint Injection Method of Stem Cells.

Most noteworthy, the team of Prof. Yin adopted the latest technology of enabling stem cells, and reinfused 8 critically ill patients with enabling stem cells, their symptoms improved obviously in 2-5 days after the reinfusion of the endowed stem cells for three times, and they recovered completely and were discharged from hospital in about 10 days. It was proposed that MSCs could speed up the rehabilitation of COVID-19 patients, reduce the mortality rate and shorten the hospitalization time.
