Yang Zhang
Yang Zhang, holding a bachelor's degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a master's degree from the University of Denver, is currently the chairman of Zhongke Baocheng Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd., the chairman of Shanghai Shifang Enterprise Group Co., Ltd., and the chairman of Shanghai Furuiya International Health Management Center. He is renowned as a professional popularizing cell and medical knowledge to public. His main research interests are the culture and efficient expansion of NK cells in immunotherapy and the differentiation of stem cells.
The research team led by YANG ZHANG found a special binding site on the c-myc protein, which activates the long chain non-coding RNA SPEAR-AS2, thereby interfering with the metabolic mechanism between the glucolysis regulator GLUT1 and breast cancer cells.
YANG ZHANG also holds a number of patents for the culture and expansion of natural killer cells, and has designed extraction consumables and kits for natural killer cells, which greatly improve the purity and activity of NK cell preparations, so that NK cells can be efficiently expanded and produced at lower costs.
Through the innovative design of the cryopreservation rack and the internal space of the cryopreservation equipment for NK cells and the special cryopreservation medium, YANG ZHANG has successfully improved the stability of NK cells during cryopreservation and the activity of recovered NK cells after cryopreservation, and provides an effective solution for the long-term storage and transportation of cells.
In addition, YANG ZHANG actively introduced the advanced functional medicine and integrative medicine system from Switzerland, established Furuiya International Health Management Center and Shenmai Medical Center in Shanghai, and strived to localize the integrative medicine. The centers are promoted to numerous provinces and cities across China, and several domestic regional sub-centers are established to provide more comprehensive and personalized health management services for domestic patients.
In the field of integrative medicine, YANG ZHANG has designed a set of pretreatment of body inflammation before the cell treatment, and combined gene methylation and a number of functional medical tests with appropriate nutritional programs after cell application, so as to improve the homing ability of cells to return to the tissue damaged microenvironment, and reduce the degree of differentiation in clinical application effects.
Moreover, YANG ZHANG has established a set of efficacy evaluation system that employs clinical testing and functional medicine testing complementarily, which further improves the accuracy and effect of treatment. YANG ZHANG and his team's scientific research achievements and application practices have made important contributions to the development of biomedical science and technology and integrative medicine.
