Xuejun Zhang

Xuejun Zhang, male, is professor and doctoral supervisor of Guangxi University, Ph.D. of Department of Electronics of Faculty of Engineering at Gifu University in Japan, Postdoctoral Fellow of Graduate School of Medicine at Gifu University in Japan, and visiting professor at the School of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California, the Mevis Institute at the University of Bremen in Germany, and the Graduate School of Medicine at Gifu University in Japan.

He has been focusing on computer-aided diagnosis of liver diseases for a long time, and has continuously innovated in the field of computer and electronic information applications in combination with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and cloud computing. His research results have won many awards. In the fields of epidemic prevention, construction, industrial control, education and other fields, he has made numerous achievements, and has obtained many industry-university-research achievements. He has presided over 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 provincial major project for innovation-driven development, 1 Shishan Science and Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Leading Talent Program at Suzhou High-tech Zone, and 1 Gusu Innovation and Entrepreneurship Leading Talent Program in Jiangsu Province. He has published more than 70 academic papers, of which 32 have been indexed by SCI, and has won many academic and teaching awards. He has applied for 15 invention patents, 6 foreign patents and 46 software copyrights. He has organized and guided students to win more than 40 national, provincial and ministerial awards, including 4 national bronze awards in the "Internet +" and "Challenge Cup" competitions, the first prize in the national finals of the 2nd National College Student Intelligent Interconnection Innovation Competition in 2017, and the first prize in the national finals of the 24th China Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Competition in 2022. He has played an important role in the cultivation of electronic information engineering professionals and the innovation and practice of information teaching.
