Xiwen Jiang
Dr. Xiwen Jiang has held the positions of deputy general manager, chief scientific officer and R&D director at Daan Gene Co., Ltd. since September 2015. Additionally, he is the distinguished mechanical Engineer in the realm of medical devices, the highest nationally recognized professional designation within this field. Dr. Jiang is also recognized as an exceptional expert under the "Guangzhou High-Level Talents" program, an accolade bestowed by the Guangzhou Municipal Government.
Dr. Jiang's received his PhD in microbiology from the esteemed University of Hong Kong in 2012. Since then, his professional endeavors have been focused on the ever-evolving field of in vitro diagnostic product development, strategic planning, and the management of scientific research initiatives. Dr. Jiang's remarkable academic record includes 38 publications, with 24 of them featured in prestigious SCI journals. Furthermore, he has assumed leadership roles and made substantial contributions to 20 research projects, spanning municipal and national levels, including active participation in four strategic national-level initiatives. His influence extends well beyond the realm of academia, as he has made valuable contributions to the establishment of a national standard and played a pivotal role in the creation of three pharmaceutical industry standards within the People's Republic of China, in addition to four group standards.As the core inventor, he has submitted 348 patent applications, including 3 international patent applications, and has obtained 53 Chinese patent authorizations.
Dr. Jiang has garnered numerous prestigious awards, such as the China Patent Gold Award and the Guangdong Patent Gold Award (as the first inventor). He has also been honored with the China Academia-Industry Translational Cooperation Innovation and Promotion Award (Academia-Industry Translational Craftsman Spirit Award), the First Prize of the Science and Technology Award from the Guangdong Preventive Medicine Association, recognition as an Outstanding Leader in Science and Technology Innovation within the pharmaceutical industry in Guangdong Province, the title of Outstanding Young Talent in Science and Technology Innovation under the 'Guangdong Special Support Plan' .
Dr. Jiang holds various leadership roles in the field of healthcare and medicine. He serves as the Deputy Director of the National Local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Molecular Diagnostics in Clinical Medicine, as well as holding managerial roles within several key organizations. He is Vice President of the Guangdong Precision Medicine Application Association (GDPMAA), Vice President of the Guangdong Medical Device Management Academy (GDMDMA), and Vice President of the Guangdong Food & Drug Technology Association for Evaluation & Certification (GD.FDTAEC), where he is actively involved with the Medical Device Professional Committee.
