Xinhua Chen

Dr. Xinhua Chen got her Ph.D.in biomedicine from ODU University USA, and a M.D. in Surgery from Zhejiang University. She is now a licensed surgeon in the Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University. She serves as the senior member of Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering, International Society of Bioelectromagnetic, International Society of Electroporation Technology Therapy, Recognized as the world-renowned pioneer and leader of medical translation of pulse electric field, she has made breakthrough achievements in the theory and clinical application of pulse electromagnetic field. Using frontier pulse electric field technology for the medical cross research, she works as engeneer to realize the standardization of pulse electric field instrument, radiation measurement, establish the cell membrane channel, nuclear skeleton, nuclear reconstruction, set up the theory of bioelectrics based on pusled electric field and its influence on cell metabolism. She proved that ultra-high pressure ultra-short pulse destroys cell nucleus by means of no heat ablation, and these achievements have been highly valued by the world. She edited the the first textbook on pulse electric field medicine, and formulated the industry standard of the safe application of pulse electric field. The innovative medical devices she developed have won the invention patents at home and abroad and have been successfully transformed into innovative medical device. They have been rated as the innovative medical devices of China State Food and Drug Administration and also certificated by the FDA as “Breakthrough Device”.
