Wenming Feng
Wenming Feng, professor and chief physician of the First Affiliated Hospital of Huzhou University, has been working in the basic research and clinical field of hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery for over 30 years, leading the development of complex endoscopic hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery in the province. He has won the titles of provincial health innovation talent, provincial "151 Talent Project" candidate, and Municipal scientific and technological innovation leading talent.
He established a prevention and treatment system for severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) (including minimally invasive intervention at different stages in the peripancreatic region, peritoneal lavage dialysis, Qingyi decoction, etc.), which reduced the mortality rate of SAP to 5.77%, and was promoted throughout the country, achieving great social benefits.
He was the first to discover the time regularity of tumor angiogenesis after TACE, and construct a comprehensive treatment strategy for middle /advanced liver cancer with anti-angiogenic TACE as the core, which increased the 3-year survival rate of patients to 45.00%.
He proposed an early pre-warning system for postoperative liver metastasis from colorectal cancer, and constructed the sequential therapy of surgery, intraoperative portal vein chemotherapy，postoperative hepatic arterial interventional chemotherapy and systemic chemotherapy. The 3-year disease-free survival rate was increased by 11.73% and the overall survival time by 18.98%. The incidence of liver metastasis was decreased by 10.61%.
He established a regional severe trauma treatment network and completed the research and development of pre-hospital first-aid and emergency "life wristband", which reduced the average emergency response time to 11.4min and the average emergency arrival time to the hospital to 7.88min.
He hosted 11 provincial and ministerial scientific research projects published more than 180 papers (including 50 SCI papers)，obtained 2 patent authorization (1 transferred). He won 1 second prize of the National Invention and Entrepreneurship Innovation Award and 1 second prize of the Achievement Award, and 3 third prizes of provincial Science and Technology Progress Award.
