Wang Hong
Prof. Wang Hong, born in September 1967, is a Professor/Researcher and a Doctoral Supervisor. He is primarily engaged in technical consulting for coal preparation plants, engineering design and project management, research and development for equipment, and scientific research management. He has been honored with titles including the Special Government Allowance of the State Council (2009), National Candidate of the New Century Millions of Talents Project (2007), Encouragement Award for Outstanding Engineers of China (2016), and National Coal Youth Science and Technology Award (1996). He has received one National Science and Technology Progress Third Prize, four First Prizes, nine Second Prizes, and nine Third Prizes for Science and Technology Progress at the provincial and ministerial levels. Additionally, he has been awarded one First Prize, three Second Prizes, and four Third Prizes for Outstanding Engineering Consulting. He holds nine invention and utility model patents. He has published nearly 60 papers in domestic and international academic journals and international academic conferences, including 4 papers indexed in SCI (Science Citation Index) and 17 papers indexed in EI (The Engineering Index). He has presided over or significantly contributed to the compilation of 4 works, including New Technologies and Equipment for Efficient Coal Preparation, Installation, Use, and Maintenance of Coal Preparation Plant Machinery and Equipment, Practical Techniques for Coal Washing Engineering, and Research on Large Vibrating Screen Systems and Structural Dynamics. In recent years, he has conducted research on the sorting and comprehensive utilization of solid waste in mining areas and ecological restoration and management in mining areas. As the main participant, he has been involved in projects such as the Fushun Xilutian Project and the ecological restoration and management in the Muli Coalfield in Qinghai.
