Qingguo Wu,a national high-level talent, president of the Research Institute of CHISAGE Holding Group Co., Ltd., and doctoral supervisor of Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Qingguo Wu obtained a Master's degree in Chemistry from Zhengzhou University in July 1990; After graduating with a master's degree, he conducted research on advanced electrode materials and their electrochemical properties at the Ningbo Institute of Preventive Medicine, the Energy Division of the CSIRO Australia, and the Department of Chemistry at Cornell University in the United States; Obtained a doctoral degree in Chemistry from Queen's University of Canada in October 2000; He conducted postdoctoral research in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2000 to July 2002. From July 2002 to February 2010, he worked at Novellus Systems,Inc. in the United States on the research and industrialization of semiconductor materials and their PECVD in integrated circuits. He obtained 15 invention patents and directly or indirectly generated billions of dollars in revenue for the company. From March 2010 to present, Qingguo Wu has been engaged in the research and industrialization of new energy battery materials in Zhejiang Jinying Welly New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and CHISAG Holding Group Co., Ltd. etc in China, and has obtained 17 invention patents and more than 30 utility model patents. He has served as the task leader of China's National "863" Energy Storage Project, the project leader of the National Science and Technology Small and Medium sized Enterprise Technology Innovation Fund and the project leader of Ningbo Science and Technology Innovation Team, etc. Qingguo Wu led a technical team to research and develop silicon carbon semiconductor materials with low or ultra-low dielectric constants, and the material properties reached the international advanced level; Research and development have been conducted on the preparation technology of long-life lithium manganese oxide materials, single cell battery design technology, and modular technology, breaking through the industrialization technology of long-life low-cost lithium-ion batteries energy storage systems; He has developed low-cost and high specific capacity sodium manganese positive electrode materials and hard carbon negative electrode materials for sodium ion batteries. Published over 60 academic papers in renowned domestic and international journals, with multiple papers published in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.J. Am. Chem. Soc., Anal. Chem., Chem. Mater. etc. During his tenure at Novellus Systems, Inc. in the United States, Qingguo Wu has won multiple awards such as Outstanding Performance Award, Excellent Paper Award, and Patent Milestone Award from the group company. In 2016, he was awarded the titles of Zhejiang Province Special Expert and National Special Expert. Received the Ningbo Excellent Overseas Engineer Award in 2017; In 2023, he was awarded the China Science Person of the Year Award at the 22nd Annual Conference of Chinese Scientists.
