Qi Wang

Dr. Qi Wang is currently a Professor and the director of the Graphene Center of the Hefei Institute of Technology Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China and Visiting Professor at Sichuan University of Science and Engineering at China. He is also served as Member of the Academic Committee of the Key Laboratory of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,

the laboratory director of the Lu'an Institute of Anhui Industrial Technology Innovation Research Institute currently. He served as Academics of Key Laboratory of Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2016 to 2021. As the initiator, He participated in the establishment of the Graphene Industry Service Platform in the Yangtze River Delta region in 2018, and prepared to establish the Anhui Graphene Manufacturing Industry Innovation Center in 2022.

Dr. Wang mainly engaged in the preparation of graphene materials using plasma technology and their applications in energy, environmental protection, catalysis, and other fields. He used plasma technology to prepare graphene platinum composite materials, and developed a system of graphene composite materials synthesis by using plasma technology. The prepared composite materials were used for fuel cell electrode reactions, supercapacitor electrodes, photocatalytic hydrogen production, and electrocatalytic oxygen and hydrogen evolution reactions. He has won the "President Special Award" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the "Excellent Doctoral Dissertation" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the "Tianfu Plan" Class A talent, the "Outstanding Youth" Science Fund of Anhui Province, the "Luzhou Innovation Talent", the "Outstanding Young Scientist" of the Year of Scientific Chinese, the "Strategic Emerging Industry Leading Talent" of Anhui Province, the China Industry University Research Cooperation Innovation Award, China Invention Association Invention and Innovation Award, etc. He published over 50 SCI papers as the first or corresponding author and obtained multiple invention patents.He presided over the National Key R&D Program of China , programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Youth Fund, the "Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars" of Anhui Province, the "Key Research and Development Plan" of Anhui Province, the talent project of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the President's Fund of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Wang is the editorial board member of SCI journal Nature Scientific Reports, RSC Advances review committee, and multiple SCI journal review experts, project review experts of the China Ministry of Science and Technology, Anhui, Guangdong, Shanxi, Jiangsu and Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Department.
