Mei LianwuMei Lianwu


Mei Lianwu, hailing from Anhui, China, is a distinguished individual with an academic background from the International Medical University of Sri Lanka. Currently serving as a visiting professor at the Holo Medical University in the United States, and a visiting professor at the Lahn-Victoria College in the United Kingdom. Mei is also recognized as a cultural health ambassador in both China and the United Kingdom. Holding a doctoral degree from the International Medical University of Sri Lanka, Mei has further academic credentials, including a master's degree from Franklin University in Switzerland and a visiting professorship at the International Medical University of Sri Lanka. As an international health ambassador, Mei assumes the role of the Director of the Institute for Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Prevention and Treatment of Chronic Diseases at the China Academy of Management Sciences. Additionally, Mei serves as the Chief Researcher at the China Academy of Management Sciences, and as an expert committee member at the Chinese Traditional Medicine Society. Mei is also a specially invited editorial board member for "Compendium of Difficult Diseases in Chinese Medicine" and holds the position of the President of the Chengjin Chinese Medicine Research Institute in Beijing. Recognized for expertise, Mei is among the first batch of expert reviewers for academic projects at the Guangdong Science and Technology Association. Moreover, Mei holds the position of Vice President at the Shenzhen Health Technology Society and is an expert in the Shenzhen Community Health Popularization Group. Further, Mei serves as the Director of the Shenzhen Intelligent Diabetes Research Institute at the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology. With professional qualifications as a Deputy Chief Physician, Associate Professor, and Senior Nutritionist, Mei has achieved numerous accolades, including a lifetime achievement award and outstanding contribution award from the International Medical University of Sri Lanka. Additionally, Mei has been honored with the title of Technology Exemplar and Innovation Model by the China Scientists Forum, and in 2017, received the Gold Award at the Shenzhen International Biomedical and Life Health Industry Exhibition. In the field of medicine, Mei has dedicated 33 years to researching diabetes, gout, myopia, and hyperthyroidism, resulting in the acquisition of nearly 200 patented achievements and over 100 proprietary technological advancements.
