Li Niu
Professor Li Niu, winner of the National Outstanding Young Science Fund, Foreign Academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, Fellow of the Royal Society of the United Kingdom (FRSC). Hundred Talents Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Leading Talents of the National “Ten Thousand Talents Plan”, granted by the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, State Council Special Allowance Recipients, Young & Middle-aged Scientific & Technological Innovation Leaders launched by Ministry of Science & Technology, Funds for Young Scientist, Top Innovative Talents and Senior Expert of Jilin Province, Innovation & Entrepreneurship Plan Talents of Jiangsu Province. Docentship of Åbo Akademi Unverisity, Finland; JSPS Visiting Professor in Hokkaido University, Japan; Visiting Professor of NIMS, Japan; Otto Mønsteds Guest Professor in DTU, Denmark; Taishan Professorship of Shandong Province; Minjiang Chair Professorship of Fujian Province.
His research work mainly focuses on photoelectric functional materials, photoelectric chemical sensors and analytical instrument design, etc. In recent years he has published more than 500 scientific research including Nat.Commun., J.Am.Chem.Soc., Angew.Chem.Int.Ed., Adv.Mater., Anal.Chem. etc, which have been cited for more than 20,000 times. He has authorized more than 100 national invention patents, and made invited reports in academic conferences for more than 70 times. In recent years, he has been in charge of more than 50 national, provincial, local and enterprise industry-university-research projects, including major instrument development projects of the NSFC, and formed a number of industry-university-research technical achievements in materials, sensors as well as instrument systems.
