Junmin WangJunmin Wang


Junmin Wang, born in 1973, is a Professor in Applied Mathematics at Beijing Institute of Technology. His research interests focus on Mathematical Control Theory and Its Applications. He has made the innovative achievements and substantial contributions in the infinite-dimensional systems control.

Professor Wang has published 2 monographs and more than 100 academic top journal papers in control theory and applied mathematics, such as "IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control", "Automatica" and "SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization". He has hosted 5 National Natural Science Foundation projects, and was the recipient for New Century Excellent Talents Program from Ministry of Higher Education of China in 2007. He won the second prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Award in 2012 and the second prize of the Natural Science Award for Outstanding Scientific Research Achievements of Higher Education Institutions of the Ministry of Education in 2019. He is an associated editor in the journal "Control Theory and Technology". He has supervised 25 graduate students.
