Juncai HouJuncai Hou


Juncai Hou, male, born in March 1975, is Ph.D., professor and doctoral supervisor. He was rated as a New Century Talent in Heilongjiang Province, the backbone of the "Head Goose" team in Heilongjiang Province, a distinguished professor of "Longjiang Scholar", and a high-level talent in Heilongjiang Province. He is also a member of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Special Diets, a director of the Food Equipment and Intelligent Manufacturing Branch of the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology, a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Science and Technology of Food Industry, the vice chairman of the Heilongjiang Coarse Cereals Society, the executive director of the Heilongjiang Institute of Food Science and Technology, etc.

Professor Hou's main research topics include food nutrition and health, dairy processing, functional food, etc. He has presided over and undertaken more than 20 projects at all levels, including 4 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 project of the National Key R&D Program, 2 sub-projects of the National Twelfth Five-Year Plan science and technology support, and 1 key project of the Natural Science Foundation of Heilongjiang Province. He has participated in 12 projects of key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the national "863" project, and the Natural Science Foundation of Heilongjiang Province. He has published more than 110 papers included in SCI (45 papers in Zone 1 of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, 8 cover papers in Zone 1, 14 papers with 1% high citation in ESI, and 7 hot papers), 25 papers included in EI, and 3 monographs. Other citations exceed 1,700 times and H-index is 23. He has been authorized 22 national invention patents, including 1 United States invention patent and 2 Australian patents, and has obtained 5 utility model patents and 5 software copyrights. He has won 6 awards, including the first prize of the Innovation Award of the China Invention and Entrepreneurship Award, the first prize of the Natural Science Award of Heilongjiang Province, the Character Award of the13th China Invention and Entrepreneurship Award, and the Top Ten Advances in China's Food Science and Technology in 2020. The results of the national key R&D program project "Research on Intestinal Microecological Regulation Technology and Creation and Industrialization of Nutritious and Healthy Food" undertaken by Professor Hou have been identified by the expert group headed by the academician organized by the China National Light Industry Council as the international advanced level in overall terms, and the relevant achievements have added an output value of 563 million yuan, creating significant economic benefits.
