Jinbin Wang
Dr. Jinbin Wang is currently a Chair Professor and the Dean of School of Materials Science and Egineering, Xiangtan University, China. He was awarded the title of New Century Talents by the Ministry of Education in 2009. In 2011, he was appointed as a Distinguished Professor of the "Furong" Scholar Program in Hunan Province. In 2017, he was awarded as an expert enjoying special goverment allowance of Hunan Province.
Dr. Wang received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics and Condensed Physics from Xiangtan University, China, in 1996 and 2000, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree in Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics from Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, in 2005. Dr. Wang's current research interests mainly include ferroelectric thin films and their memories for aerospace applications, radiation effects and reinforcement technologies for electronic devices, and special functional thin films and coatings. Dr. Wang has published more than 200 journal papers. His work has been cited more than 4000 times based on Google Scholar. In addition, He has been authorized more than 20 national invention patents in China. Dr. Wang once served as an Associate Editor Journal of Nanoscience Letters. Currently, he has served as the editorial board member for Journal of Inorganic Materials. He is the recipient of some awards including the first and third prizes of Hunan Provincial Natural Science Award, Hunan Provincial Youth Science and Technology Award, and Excellent Youth Science and Technology Award of China Dielectric Physics Society. As a conference chairman, he organized the "Development and Challenges of Non-volatile Storage Technology" Young Scientists Forum and China-Japan Symposium on Ferroelectrics and their applications, and other international and domestic academic conferences. He has participated in many international academic conferences in the U.S., Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Beijing, etc., and served as a session chairman and invited presentations.
Dr. Wang is a Director of the Science and Technology Service Committee of the Ministry of Education, National Atomic Energy Agency's Anti-irradiation Center, Functional Materials Society of China Instrument and Control Society, Pulsed Power Technology and Applications Society of Chinese Nuclear Society (CNS).
