Zhang Hongfu: second-level research professor and doctoral supervisor of Beijing Institute of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Chief scientist of "Livestock Nutrition and Regulation Innovation Team" of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Director and post scientist of Production and Environment Research Office of National Broiler Industry Technology System; He is also the director of the Animal Nutrition and Feed discipline of the Institute, the executive deputy director of the National Key Laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Feeding, and the director of the Key Laboratory of Animal Nutrition and Feed Science of the Ministry of of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

It is committed to the research of "unifying the external environment of breeding and the physiological internal environment to support healthy and efficient breeding". He has published 548 papers in journals such as Gut, Microbiome, Sci. of Total Environment, and Chinese Agricultural Sciences. Published 16 books including "Modern Green and High-quality Pig Breeding", "Livestock and Poultry Environmental Biology", "Livestock and Poultry Healthy and Efficient Breeding Environment Manual Series", "Animal Nutrition Parameters and Feeding Standards"; As the first complete person, he won 1 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress, 3 first prizes of provincial departments and 2 second prizes; It has trained 15 postdocs, 32 doctoral students and 70 master students.
