Duan Peigao, doctor, professor, doctoral supervisor. Director of the Department of Chemical Engineering, School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Xi 'an Jiaotong University; Deputy Director of the Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology, Xi 'an Jiaotong University; Head of the specialty of Chemical Engineering and Technology. He was selected as the New Century Outstanding Talents of the Ministry of Education, Outstanding Talents of Science and Technology Innovation of Henan Province, Academic and Technology leaders of Henan Province, special experts of Shaanxi Province, high-level talents of Shaanxi Province, and 2019 I&ECR2019 Global Impact Scholars. He is now the deputy director of the Expert Committee of the China Energy Society, a national high-level talent communication evaluation expert, a National Natural Science Foundation peer review expert, and a Ministry of Education Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award communication evaluation expert. In recent years, as a project or subject leader, he has undertaken more than 20 scientific research projects, including 1 national key research and development plan, 1 National Key Research and Development Plan subproject, 4 National Natural Science Foundation, and 1 National Defense Science and Technology Commission project. We have published 160 SCI journal articles, including Energy & Environmental Science, ACS Catalysis, Advanced Science, etc., for a total of 36 papers with an impact factor of more than 10. These papers have been cited by more than 6020 SCI journals, such as Nature and Science and H-index 42. This approach was applied for 25 invention patents, 20 of which were authorized. The authors also participated in the compilation of 5 Chinese and English monographs. Guest editor of international journals Applied Science, Energy Report, Algal Research. He won the second Prize of the Henan Science and Technology Progress Award in 2016 (the first recipient), the Outstanding Youth of Henan Science and Technology Innovation Award in 2017, the First Prize of Natural Science in Henan Province—Excellent Academic Paper Award in 2013, 2015 and 2018 (both the first recipient), and the 12th Invention Enterprise Award and Personality Award in 2021. 2021 Industry-study-Research Cooperation Innovation Award (Individual), 2022 China Technology Market Association Golden Bridge Award Outstanding Contribution Award (Project Award), IBS2022 "Lixin Cup" 2022 biomass energy and organic solid waste industry top ten figures.
