Deyu QiDeyu Qi


Prof. Deyu Qi, B.sc, M. Tech. , PhD. Tech., Professor, Doctoral Supervisor. He has been a professor of the School of Computer Science and Technology, a professor of the School of Software, a doctoral supervisor of Computer Science and Technology and Software Engineering, the director of the Institute of Computer Systems, all at South China University of Technology. He also is the director of the Joint Innovation Laboratory of Internet of Things of the University of Texas at Arlington and South China University of Technology, the chairman of the Guangdong Trusted Digital Identity and Cryptographic Blockchain Application Alliance, the chairman of Digital Science and Technology Branch of Guangdong Higher Education Association, the president of Guangzhou Future Information Technology Research Institute, the director of Ubiquitous Object Digitization Engineering Research Center of Guangdong Province, the Topic Editors of Frontiers in High Performance Computing of Fractal and Fractional. Meanwhile he is an adjunct professor of South China Agricultural University and Guangdong University of Technology, a distinguished Professor of South China Business School of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies.

His main research interests include new generation computer system architecture, software development methodology and software architecture, big data supporting technology, CASE and software development environment and tools, intelligence augmentation, intelligent control, computer system security, cloud computing, internet of things, etc. At present, he supervised 3 post-doctoral fellows, 30 doctoral students and nearly 200 master's students.

He has published nearly 300 academic papers in well-known domestic and foreign journals, and has been granted 15 invention patents, 3 PCT international patents and 80 software copyright registrations. Wrote and published the treatises "Data Structure and Algorithm" and "Computer Formal Methods". Won 1 first prize (collective) of the National Computer Application Achievement Award, 1 First National Computer Application Achievement Award and 2 Provincial Scientific and Technological Progress Awards as the first finisher . His scientific and technological achievements made in the field of core computer technology were reported on 6 March 2023 by the People's Representative, the official newspaper of the National People's Congress.

He has been responsible for the National High Technology (863) Project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Technology Innovation Fund, the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, the Guangdong Provincial Key Science and Technology Projects, the Guangdong-Hong Kong Key Breakthrough Projects, and so on.

Successively in the undertaking of the National 863, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and some other funds or science and technology plan projects, presented creatively the VLSI dynamic testability analysis method FANALYSIS, abstract model for object-oriented analysis LOODS, product concept design intelligent support architecture HCP, large granularity independent distributed application system interoperability model XIOM, multiple database middleware DoD, modeled data integration-distribution environment and tool DataHub, Computing method based on formal Domain Fusion GridJack, meta-object socket MOS (OAA), method and model of big data processing and forming oriented to value-adding of data asset GriDoc, C/S model software development method and framework based on extraction and injection service EIO, unified software development platform OneP, pan-manufacturing platform UPP, crowd intelligence innovation platform CPP, system generator for assembly line control CtrlTurbo, ubiquitous object intelligent control model UOSM
