Daorong Xue

Prof. Daorong Xue, is a native of Shucheng, Lu’an, Anhui. As a senior engineer, he holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Management from Tsinghua University and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the American University of Management and Technology. With a focus on intelligent high-end equipment manufacturing, clean energy applications and industrialization over the years. Presently, he serves as a representative of the People's Congress in Xingtai City, Hebei Province, a member of the Science and Technology Committee of the 10th Beijing Municipal Committee of the China Zhi Gong Party, an appointed professor in the first batch of industry-education integration industrial practice by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Vice Chairman of the Anhui (Anhui) Experts, Scholars and Industrialists Association Think Tank, the Vice President of the New Energy Chamber of Commerce of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Honorary Vice President of the Anhui Chamber of Commerce, the Executive Vice President of the Beijing Anhui Chamber of Commerce, an MBA Entrepreneur Mentor at the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University, and the Chairman of Beijing Daorong Heli Technology Group.

During his tenure at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof.Daorong Xue had presided over 12 national, provincial, ministerial, and municipal projects. Among them, the OP-flow system software that he participated in the research and development, received project support from the Beijing Science and Technology Commission’s science and technology innovation base cultivation and development project. The neutron beam switching system (middle gate system and hydraulic system) that he participated in the design for the national major science and technology infrastructure, the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS), was recognized with the China Spallation Neutron Source Engineering Contribution Award. The complete automated production line for high-temperature concentrating evacuated tubes, which he participated in leading the research and development of, was certified as an exemplary base for international scientific and technological cooperation by the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission.

Prof.Daorong Xue founded Beijing Opco Star Technology Co., Ltd. in 2004, successfully completing its acquisition and listing. In 2017, he established Hebei Daorong New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. He prioritizes process management as the focal control objective and adopts a results-driven approach, aiming to enhance all management systems and establish a robust framework for innovative research and development technology. He has successively applied for 319 patents, including 47 invention patents and 3 software copyrights, participated in the formulation of 30 national, industry and group standards, and published 14 professional and technical articles and reports.

While actively promoting the steady development of the enterprise, Prof.Daorong Xue remains committed to his original aspirations and steadfastly practices public welfare and shouldering responsibilities with courage. He has made multiple donations to esteemed public welfare organizations, such as the Hebei Weixian Red Cross Society, the Mentougou Red Cross Foundation, and the Red Cross Society of Shucheng County in Lu'an, Anhui. These noble actions have exemplified the exemplary role of modern private entrepreneurs. Prof.Daorong Xue has been honored with several prestigious awards, including the second prize of the Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Award, Xingtai City Advanced Individual in Science and Technology Innovation, the Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in Mentougou District, Beijing, and the title of Advanced Individual in Technological Innovation in 2015.
